Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI Core Ultra 9-275HX, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX 5060 8GB (NH.U0MAA.001) – A 240Hz OLED Gaming Laptop in a Slim 2cm Chassis
The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI (NH.U0MAA.001) pairs a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour, a combination still uncommon at the RTX 5060 level, where most gaming laptops use IPS panels. Because OLED pixels switch almost instantly and produce true blacks, fast shooters look sharper and dark scenes in AAA games show more depth. In addition, the “S” in the name stands for slim: Acer fits all of this into a chassis about 2.0cm thin and roughly 2.3kg, so it slides into a backpack for LAN sessions in Westlands or lectures at JKUAT.
Under the hood, the Intel Core Ultra 9-275HX brings 24 cores, 24 threads, 36MB of cache and turbo speeds up to 5.4GHz, plus an Intel AI Boost NPU. Meanwhile, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 supports DLSS 4 and ray tracing for smooth play at high settings. As a result, the same laptop that runs Valorant and EA FC at high frame rates also handles AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks and Premiere Pro. 16GB DDR5-6400 RAM, a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet and Killer Wi-Fi 6E round out the package, and it ships with Windows 11 Home.

Who This Laptop Is Best Suited For
As a result of this combination of specs, three types of users benefit most:
- Competitive and single-player gamers who want 240Hz OLED motion clarity and, therefore, prefer it over a standard IPS gaming panel.
- Engineering and architecture students at campuses such as JKUAT, UoN and TUK who run AutoCAD, Revit or SolidWorks by day and game after class.
- Content creators and streamers who edit on a 100% DCI-P3 OLED panel and stream with the 24-core CPU and RTX encoder.
