Vention Type-C to HDMI Cable 2M Black (CGUBH) – Enough Reach from Sofa or Table to a Wall-Mounted TV
The Vention Type-C to HDMI Cable 2M Black (CGUBH) is a 2-metre USB-C to HDMI video cable with a USB Type-C male plug on one end and an HDMI Type-A male plug on the other. Because most living-room and boardroom TVs hang on a wall or sit on a stand, a 1m cable often leaves the laptop balanced on the TV cabinet. This cable’s 2m length reaches from a coffee table, sofa arm or meeting table to the screen instead. It carries video and audio together at up to 4K resolution and 30Hz, which suits films, slideshows and sharp 1080p presentations, and it supports both mirror and extended display modes.
Inside, tinned copper conductors sit under triple-layer shielding to keep the picture free of interference, while gold-plated connectors resist corrosion. It works plug-and-play with no drivers. However, the USB-C device must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode: compatible examples include many MacBooks, iPad Pro, Surface, Dell XPS, HP EliteBook and Samsung Galaxy S and Note models, while many Samsung Galaxy A, Xiaomi and budget phones and the Nintendo Switch do not output video this way. As a result, a family in Lavington streaming from a laptop to a wall TV or a team in Mombasa presenting on a meeting-room screen gets the reach they need.
