Vention USB 3.1 (Gen 1) C Male to A Female OTG Cable 0.15M Black PVC Type (CCVBB) – 5Gbps for External Drives and Card Readers on USB-C Devices
The Vention USB 3.1 (Gen 1) C Male to A Female OTG Cable 0.15M Black PVC Type (CCVBB) is a short USB-C to USB-A OTG cable that runs at USB 3.1 Gen 1 speed of up to 5Gbps. With it, a USB-C laptop, tablet or phone can read USB-A external hard drives, SSDs, flash drives and card readers at full speed, roughly ten times faster than a USB 2.0 OTG cable. For example, a 1GB video file moves in a few seconds rather than half a minute. Because the 15cm cable flexes, a heavy portable hard drive rests on the desk instead of hanging off the port, which protects both the drive connector and the laptop’s USB-C socket.
The flexible black PVC jacket handles daily bending, while firm-fitting connectors hold a stable link during long transfers. It also works with keyboards, mice and gamepads, and it runs plug-and-play on Windows, macOS, iPadOS and Android, provided the phone or tablet supports OTG. As a result, a videographer in Westlands offloading phone footage to a USB-A SSD, or a MacBook user in Karen backing up to an older external hard drive, gets full-speed transfers without buying a new drive.
