Vention USB-C to 100M Ethernet Adapter 0.15M Black (CFABB) – Budget Wired Internet for Chromebooks, Tablets and Tablet Tills
The Vention USB-C to 100M Ethernet Adapter 0.15M Black (CFABB) is a budget USB-C to RJ45 adapter that gives a USB-C device a 10/100Mbps wired network connection. Many home and small-business internet plans in Kenya run at 100Mbps or below, so Fast Ethernet delivers the full speed you pay for without the extra cost of a Gigabit adapter. Beyond laptops, it suits Chromebooks, Android tablets and phones that support USB Ethernet, which makes it useful for tablet-based POS tills and classroom devices that need a connection Wi-Fi cannot guarantee. It runs on a Realtek RTL8152 chipset over USB 2.0 and works plug-and-play across a wide range of systems.
For everyday use, the adapter has a 0.15m black PVC cable, gold and nickel-plated contacts and a light weight of about 28g, so it packs into a pencil case or laptop sleeve. In addition, it supports Windows XP through 10 and later, macOS, Linux and Android. As a result, a shop in Eastleigh running an Android tablet till, a school in Nyeri connecting Chromebooks to a wired lab network, or a student in Juja plugging into a hostel LAN point gets steady internet at a low price. However, if your line is faster than 100Mbps, choose a Gigabit adapter instead.
